We are dedicated to promoting equal opportunities in media for all women by encouraging and sustaining creative projects for women, by expanding and enhancing portrayals of women in all forms of global media with a particular interest in women of color.

Every first Friday of the month in Newark NWIF will have a meet, greet and network membership drive at different locations, We will be showcasing and displaying our existing members’ and guests’ films, visual art and photography work.
Speaker & Screening Series
Newark Women In Film (NWIF) will partner with Essex County College and other colleges
in the area to offer Newark a speaker and screening series that will invite women
leaders in the fields of digital &
new media to share their
expertise.
Actors & Screenplays Series
This reading series is the best way for
actors, screenwriter and directors to work out
scenes and storyline. Open to members’
scripts only.
